Lawn Mower Blade Styles

There are different varieties of blade styles to choose from:

Platinum blades allow for the blade's cutting edge to be much more tough and flexible.

Toothed and Mulching blades are for normal lawn or fall cutting. They have a special design that throws debris up into the deck for multiple clippings allowing for rapid decomposition as well as producing a more manicured look. Mulching blades shred the grass clippings multiple times into smaller pieces.

Hi-Lift blades are for wet conditions. The blades create an upward airflow that lifts grass up before cutting, allowing for the clippings to be cut into smaller pieces. They are precision balanced and heat-treated with milled edges for durability.

Notched air-lift blades are for fine grass or bagging. They lift grass blades up before cutting and create an airflow that pulls the grass up for a cleaner cut and propel grass up to be sucked into the bag easily.

Standard blades have medium lift and are the best blades to use for regular, typical conditions. They are precision-balanced and heat-treated for durability.

Silver Streak Hi-Lift Toothed blades are 25% thicker and have 40% higher lift than other toothed blades. They have superior discharge and more surface area to cut grass and leaves. These blades last much longer than typical toothed blades.
